RealPlayer is a video player with all the additional features that one can think of in a complete audio/video software suite.
You can play video and audio with MPEG3, MPEG4 formats. RealNetworks provides all the latest media codecs with the software, or else you can download them from their site.
With RealPlayer, you can also listen to channels like ABCNews, Boomberg or CNN. Moreover, you can listen to radio online. RealPlayer comes with over 100 channels pre-installed.
RealPlayer enables you to play clips. Both local and streamed clips can be played. In case of streamed clips, you do not have to open the browser. Just paste the link in the "Open Location" option in the menu of your RealPlayer.
Besides all the popular audio and video formats, RealPlayer also supports AVI, WAV, RM, RMA etc. It provides optimum sound with the 10-Band Graphic Equalizer and gets the sharpest picture with advanced video controls.
